Electrocardiogram or is also known as an ECG.
Its fun how we can measure our own heart beat. In a a heart beat you have the PQRST. Each letter has its own meaning and placing of a heart beat.
As you can see here in this picture the the letters are places in different positions. The first letter is the P. Which is s the first wave of the electrocardiogram and represents the spread of electrical impulse through the atrial musculature. Next is the QRS wave represents the spread of the electrical impulse through the ventricular muscle (depolarization). The Q wave is the first downward position then the R wave is a upward position and the S wave is a negative reflection following the R wave. Then Last the T wave. The T wave represents the period of recovery for the ventricles (repolariztion).
I DID MY OWN EKG LAB RESULTS AS YOU CAN SEE MINE LOOKED DIFFERENT FROM WHAT YOU WOULD SEE IN A REGULAR ONE LIKE THE ONE ABOVE. MINE WAS MORE SPREAD OUT.
